FITTING SEAT BELTS |
GENERAL
Seat
belts are intended to be fitted to Anchorage Points provided by the vehicle manufacturer. They are generally threaded 7/16" UNF.
Anchorage points may be hidden behind trim.
Where Anchorages are not available a level of restraint may be
provided by fabrication - consult an automotive engineer.
Securon
do not provide or recommend a Fitting Service.
Refer to the vehicle owner's manual/dealer or an automotive engineer/mechanic
when fitting or replacing Seat belts.

- Webbing should pass across bone structure i.e. the lap or centre of
the shoulder.
- The
Buckle should lie just on or below the hip (except for Harnesses).
