Founded in 1973 by Ronnie Proctor & his late father O. A. Proctor, Securon has grown to be Britain's leading manufacturer of seat belts and safety restraints.

Securon manufacture and design Safety Restraints to meet or exceed National, International and Customer standards.  The range includes belts and harnesses for automotive, industrial, agricultural, construction & heavy duty use.

Our facilities and expertise include light engineering, plastic injection moulding, metal pressing, webbing hot seal cutting, sewing, assembly and testing.

Our factories are equipped to meet worldwide market requirements under a certified ISO 9001: Quality management system.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
Our products are manufactured, tested and approved to European/National Standards as and when required, i.e. ECE R16 , FIA 8854/98, FIA 8853/98, SAE J386, SAE J2292, FMVSS 209, DEF STAN 25-9 & ISO 6683. Identification of the relevant standard is carried on the product.

The number after 'E' denotes country where approved for example: (i.e. France 2, Italy 3 & Luxembourg 13).

CE MARKING

Seat Belts are independently tested and certified to European Directive 77/541 and/or Regulation 16 - they should not be CE marked. The latter will be confirmed by any Notified Body, i.e. B.S.I. , C.S.I. etc.

CE marking is in many cases a subjective analysis with limited or no testing and no guaranteed base line performance.
