1. Locate anchorage points in car for lap section of belt.
 2. Install buckle (Diagram A)

Note: adjust length of buckle webbing so the buckle is clear of the seat cushion and positioned just on or below the left hip.

 3. Create an anchorage point for the retractor in the vehicle metal structure by drilling a 7/16" (11.5mm) hole. (See shaded area diagram B for correct positioning).

Before drilling ensure:

• No serious corrosion within 30cm of anchorage point.
• Sufficient clearance for drill, bolts, etc. avoiding fuel pipes/tanks, brake pipes and wiring etc.
• Clearance for a 100 x 85 x 3mm reinforcing plate.
• Once installed, the diagonal should pass across the centre of the occupant's right shoulder.
   

 4. Attach the retractor (Diagram C). We recommend reinforcing the structure around the hole created using the 100mm x 85mm plate supplied.
 5. Adjust the retractor to suit installation position. This unique retractor can be mounted at any angle and its pendulum adjusted to suit.
 6. Install end bracket (Diagram D).

1. Insert tongue into buckle. A positive 'click' indicates correct assembly.
2. Tighten lap section of the belt by pulling free end of webbing through adjuster until required adjustment is reached (Diagram E).
3. Loosen lap belt by lifting the adjuster by means of the grip and slide it along the webbing (Diagram E).
4. Release the tongue from the buckle by pressing either red release button. The tongue should be ejected.
